Description & Artisan Craftsmanship:

We decided to take part in the Wid ceramics marathon, which will last the whole summer. There will be 4 tasks in it, each of which will be allocated three weeks of time. The first task is an ancient Greek vessel for pouring wine, called an oinochoia. A peculiarity of oinokha is a spout in the form of a trefoil. Since we are still just learning pottery, we decided to cast it in two parts (using the slip casting method in a plaster mold) and mold them together. Next, glazing and firing await us. For us, this is a very good experience and learning something new We decided to take part in the ceramics marathon which will last the whole summer.
