Yesterday we had a saffron day in the arboretum near Mukachevo. The arboretum appeared in 1957. Now, more than 300 crops grow here on an area of 34 hectares. Such exotic species for us as Himalayan cedar, ginkgo, sequoia, swamp cypress, lanceolate kuningamia, eleutherococcus. Most of the beeches in the park are of completely different species. Spruce trees, pines, Lebanese and Atlas cedars, Arizona cypress, as well as Manchurian aralia, resinous liquidambar, magnolia, tulip tree and Japanese cryptomeria are also grown here.
